WHY VESSALYN

What we do, and what we deliberately do not do

Clerical, not advisory

Every service is administrative and organisational. We do not offer opinions on parenting arrangements, legal standing, or personal decisions. That boundary is stated clearly and kept.

At your pace

Sessions are spaced to suit your schedule. There is no fixed timeline for completing an engagement. You can pause, restart, or stop — the materials remain yours either way.

Your documents stay yours

All original documents are returned. We do not retain copies. The encrypted archive you receive is held only by you, on hardware or storage you choose.

Clear referral pathways

When a question falls outside our scope — legal, financial, or clinical — we name the category of qualified professional you should speak with. We do not guess beyond what we do.

Fixed scope, visible price

Each service has a described scope and a stated price in Ringgit before you commit. There are no add-ons introduced mid-engagement without your agreement.

Community-ready training

Our circle programme trains volunteers to hold a conversation — not to advise. The safeguarding protocol is a core module, not an afterthought.

Not sure which service fits your situation?

Send us a short description of what you are dealing with. We will let you know which of our three services applies, or tell you honestly if none of them do.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Things people ask before getting in touch

What do you mean by "administrative only"?

We organise, file, and document. We do not assess what any document means legally or financially, we do not advise on parenting arrangements as matters of right or entitlement, and we do not offer any form of counselling or personal guidance. If a question requires professional expertise — a lawyer, a counsellor, a registered social worker — we will say so and point you in that direction.

Can one household use the Co-Parenting Logistics Toolkit without the other?

The toolkit is designed to produce documents both households will use. While we can meet with one household first, the templates and shared calendar only become practical when both parties have reviewed and agreed to use them voluntarily. We can discuss how to approach that at the initial enquiry stage.

What happens to my original documents during the Records Consolidation service?

All originals are returned to you at or before the final appointment. We scan and file-name each document during the session; we do not take originals away from the appointment venue. You hold the only copy of the encrypted archive. We retain nothing after the engagement closes.

We are a residents' association. How does the Community Support Circle Programme work for us?

We work with your committee to identify up to ten volunteers who will run circles within your community. Three training days cover how to hold a structured conversation, how to use the participant workbook, and — crucially — when and how to refer a participant to a qualified professional. The safeguarding protocol is not optional. Quarterly calls through the year give your facilitators a space to discuss what they have encountered.

Are the prices fixed or do they vary by case?

The prices listed — RM 620 for the Toolkit, RM 1,480 for Records Consolidation, and RM 4,550 for the Community Programme — are the standard fees for the described scope. If your situation requires additional sessions beyond the stated number, we discuss and agree any adjustment before proceeding.

Where do appointments take place?

Most appointments take place at our office in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur. For the Records Consolidation service, where you may be bringing a volume of documents, we can discuss a location that is more practical for you. Community Programme training days are held at a venue of the organising group's choosing within the Klang Valley.
